GM Diet Day 1

fruit salad gm dietToday is GM Diet Day 1. You can eat all the fruit you want today except Bananas. Below is a guide to help get you through the day so you do not have to think , what should I eat. Hopefully the natural fructose in the fruits you are eating today will help give you energy to get through day one of the GM diet.The best thing about this diet is there is no restriction on the amount of fruit you can consume therefore we recommend having all your favorite fruits on hand, The fruit that comes with the highest recommendations for assisting in weight loss are of course fruits with high volumes of water found naturally in them. Fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, paw paw etc. Some versions of this diet will also allow you to have tea or coffee, however we recommend starting the first day of this day without them and see how you go. Remember your goal!

Day 1 GM Diet Breakfast

livelighter melon platter gmdiet.onlineOften touted as the most important meal of the day, we start the GM diet online with  breakfast. No surprises there! We recommend starting the day with a large breakfast consisting of any kind of fruit. No bananas! Fruits such as different kinds melons and papaya  are a delicious way to start the day along with 1-2 glasses of water. These fruits quickly fill up your tummy to get your started for the first part of your day on the GM Diet. Also, they should help with cravings for your normal foods.

Day 1 GM Diet Lunch

Have lunch around 12 noon to 1.30 pm in the afternoon. Continuing with consuming watery fruits like watermelon or honeydew melon, have a mango, strawberries or kiwi fruit, do not forget your 1-2 glasses of water whenever you feel hungry.

Day 1 GM Diet Dinner

For dinner, berries are a colorful addition on your plate. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, with some apple and pineapple are beautiful way to end the evenings, accompanied with 1-2 glasses of water.  Melons can be a bit heavy on the stomach in the evenings. Perhaps, if are continuing with these reduce your serving to only half a bowl.

Drinks GM Diet Day 1

glass of waterThe most important drink while on the GM Diet is of course water, we added a squeeze of lemon and or lime to our water if on hand to add some flavor. For those of you not really a fan of water on its own you can experiment with any kind of juice. Grab a fresh orange juice, or pineapple juice when the sugar cravings are maybe filtering through at 3pm sleepy o’clock for a bit of extra energy. Coconut water can also be substituted for morning or afternoon snack. Remember if you are going to have juices instead of whole fruit, you can make them yourself at home and take with you to work with your favorite juicer or get them fresh from a juice bar. Do not buy processed or reconstituted juices, the focus of theGM diet today is for fresh fruit where you can, no bananas.

GM Diet Day 1 Plan

Breakfast (6.30-9.00)

1 bowl watermelon and cantaloupe and 1-2 glasses of water

Mid morning Snack (10:30 -11:00)

1 cup of diced apples and 1-2 glasses of water

Lunch (12:00 PM-1:30 PM)

watermelon or honeydew melon, mango, strawberries or kiwi fruit (1-2 glasses of water)

Afternoon Snack (3.00 PM)

Apple, orange, pineapple and ginger juice and or/(1-2 glasses of water) substitute juice with what you have seasonally available or that you really enjoy, maybe add some coconut water and ice.

Dinner (5.30-7. 00 PM)

1 bowl of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple pieces and apple (1-2 glasses of water)

Evening (8-9.00 PM)

1 glass of water with lemon or lime squeezed in to flavor or a glass of coconut water. If you are still feeling hungry have a piece of your favorite fruit eg. A plum (our favorite)
